Pitless adapters allow you to discharge your pump underground from the well to the house.

Pitless adapters allow you to connect your water pipe from your water well pump to an under ground discharge, to go to your house. Pitless adapters are 2 piece brass units that have one half installed into the side of the well casing below frost level, and the other half connects to the pipe coming up from your submersible pump. They make a 90 degree elbow through the side of the well casing to discharge the water line under ground. The top of the pitless half that connects to the pump, has a threading into it that does not go through. This allows you to screw a piece of pipe into it to lift the pitless adapter and the pump up out of the receiver half, to disconnect.

The B Series is a lighter weight or economy model of the original pitless adapter.
The S Series is a heavy duty model for deeper pump settings.
Both series use teflon coated O-ring seals for watertight connections.

This brass wrap around clamp on pitless adapter is designed for use on plastic well casing. Dicken's wrap-around clamp design leaves the interior of the plastic casing completely open and unobstructed, allowing you to use it on PVC well casing as small as 4 inches ID.

The durable cast steel pitless adapter housing is clamped on the outside of the steel or PVC well casing. The inside half of the pitless adapter slides into a receiver, through the wall of the PVC or steel casing. The inside remains unobstructed when the inner half from the pump is removed, allowing you to install a pump down past the pitless adapter installed on the outside of the casing.

The weld on pitless adapters are used similarly to the clamp on models, except they are welded in place on the outside of steel well casing. A hole large enough to allow the insertion of the inner half of the pitless which attaches to the pipe coming up from the pump, must be cut in the steel pipe before welding on the pitless adapter.
