These rubber K-packers, sometimes called Tri-Seals, are designed to slip directly on to the outside of plastic pipe. The three rubber ribs form a seal between the plastic pipe and the well casing. Normally, they are installed above the well screen to make a water tight seal between the smaller sized monitoring well drop pipe and the larger size well casing. These K-Packers are available in the following sizes.

SPECIAL SILICON RUBBER K-PACKER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING WELLS

The Type CG Silicon based rubber K-Packer is designed and manufactured for sensitive monitoring well hole requirements. The specially treated silicon based rubber compound is free of toxic materials and is molded in a special section of the manufacturer's plant to assure a clean hole for sampling. The rubber compound has been tested by an independent lab and lab reports are available.
