Pitless well cap for 4-1/2" OD casing with a 1" female threaded conduit connection for pump wire routing.
 

Water well pumps that discharge through the top of the well, use a cast iron well seal that compresses a rubber seal inside the well casing, and around the outside of the pump discharge pipe. When ordering a well seal, remember that it fits inside the well casing, so your measurement should be the ID of the casing. The pipe size used from the pump up out of the well, is the size to order for the center hole.
The well seal is placed into the top of the casing, with the pump discharge pipe through the center. The bolts that secure the two cast iron halves together are tightened to expand the rubber seal out against the well casing inside, and against the outside of the discharge pipe.
There is a opening for a 1/2" vent, and an opening for your pump wire to be routed through.

Double hole cast iron well seals are used with jet pumps to provide access for two pipes going down to a jet pump deep well ejector package. Normal configuration is to have a 1" pipe size and a 1-1/4" pipe size hole for the pipe. We stock some sizes in 1" for both holes.
