WinterGard Wet self regulating heating cable system eliminates icicles and ice dams safely and efficiently. WinterGard Wet heating cable can be cut and spliced to fit the layout of any roofline or gutter installation. Installed on a roof or inside gutters and downspouts, the WinterGard Wet heating tape created a drainage path for melting snow and ice, adjusting the heat output as the ambient temperature fluctuates. When the gutter is dry, the WinterGard Wet automatically cuts back its power output so it won't ever overheat or burn out. |

Parallel circuitry allows current to
flow between the two bus wires independently at each point along the
heating cable.
The conductive polymer heating core regulates its power output in response
to the temperature, making it self regulating.
The heating cable is constructed of Nickel-copper bus wires, self
regulating conductive core material, insulating jacket, tinned-copper
braid, and an outer fluoropolymer jacket.
WinterGard Wet heating cable can be overlapped, cut to length, will not
butn out, saves energy because it is self regulating, and will not
overheat roofing materials or plastic gutters.
